The Daily Post claims that Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu will report to the Super Eagles camp on Monday.
In Nigeria’s team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Onuachu is a late replacement for the injured Umar Sadiq.
Despite the late invitation, Trabzonspor have decided to release the lanky striker for the competition.
The 29-year-old will be in action on Saturday as Trabzonspor takes on Antalyaspor in a league match.
Onuachu is scheduled to leave Turkey soon following the game.
On Monday, the former KRC Genk attacker will arrive in Abidjan.
He will be in contention for Nigeria’s second encounter against Cote d’Ivoire’s Elephants.
