PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns return from the All-Star break refreshed and ready to roll as the Dallas Mavericks play host on Thursday.
PHOENIX SUNS INJURY REPORT
Bradley Beal – QUESTIONABLE with left hamstring tightness
Damion Lee – OUT due to meniscus surgery
Reports confirmed Beal had surgery on his fractured nose over the All-Star break, an ailment that has plagued him since mid January. The Arizona Republic’s Duane Rankin reported earlier this week Beal will play vs Dallas.
The Suns approach the break having won their last 14-of-18 games while the Mavericks are riding a six-game winning streak into Thursday.
This will be the last two meeting between the two sides. Phoenix-Dallas has split their season series at 1-1 thus far. Luka Doncic scored 50 points in a Christmas Day winner over the Suns while Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and co. got their revenge in a 132-109 win in Dallas back on Jan. 24.
Good test for us,” said Durant after Sunday’s All-Star game about the Mavericks.
“They’ve been playing well lately. They’ve got some new additions to their team, which is more challenging. It’s a great game to start the second half of the season.”
