Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby is well-documented as a UFC fan. In previous episodes of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby, he and his co-hosts discussed different fights and compared fighters. Crosby has attended several UFC fights and has even sparred with former middleweight champion Sean Strickland. On the latest episode of his podcast, Crosby hosted UFC president Dana White, with whom he has grown close recently. White and Crosby discussed several topics, including how Crosby hopes to be like White when he reaches his age. White discussed his mindset into his 50s, how it is similar to Crosby’s, and how he is still heavily involved in several of his business ventures.
No different than you, I like to win,” he said. “I love the business world; I love taking things that people say can’t be done and doing it. I’m still as hands-on in this thing as I ever was, maybe more so now because of my health over the last two years. I’m running this, Power Slap, Thrill One, and Howler Head. I’m involved in the day-to-day operations in all these companies now.” He then addressed Crosby directly, as Crosby is venturing into the business side of the NFL. “I love it. I still love doing it. Every day, when you get up, it’s no different than sports. You’re going to feel some of it now. You’re starting to get into the business side of football. It’s no different than when you play. When you get up every day, and you’re running a business, you strap up and you go to war. You have people that are trying to come at you, people that are trying to take you out, you have the media talking s—, the fans talking s—, competitors out there trying to take a piece of what you have, you have to strap up and go to war every single day.” Crosby has a similar mindset. He got to where he is today because of his relentless work ethic and pursuit of greatness. These things are why he and White have grown close in the last year. Their relationship could be mutually beneficial as Crosby explores business opportunities in the NFL. To watch the entire podcast episode with Crosby and White,
