2025 four-star defensive lineman Bryce Jenkins (Washington, D.C.) has locked in an official visit with the Tennessee Volunteers. He caught up with Volunteer Country to discuss. Tennessee has utilized the visit period during head coach Josh Heupel’s tenure to stand out to prospective recruits. They’ve done a nice job of cultivating a comfortable environment for these prospects. Many national names in the 2025 cycle have noticed how much the Vols invested in them during their underclassmen years and are scheduling official visits with them this summer. Friendship Collegiate Academy defensive lineman Bryce Jenkins has locked in an official visit following a visit with Tennessee for the weekend of June 20. Jenkins scheduled this official trip shortly after a recent unofficial visit. “What stood out to me was how the coaches developed their players and don’t just care about football,” Jenkins told Volunteer Country after that trip. “They care about you as a person and a young man. I definitely plan on coming back to Rocky Top for an official visit.” Jenkins caught up with Volunteer Country shortly after he announced his official visit plans to break down what he’s looking forward to this time. “I look forward to just being back at Rocky Top it gave me a feeling like no other,” he said. “What makes Tennessee unique is the coaching staff they are just well rounded and they care so much about not just an athlete but a person.” He talked more about his expectations and what he plans to do on his trip. “I’m looking forward to communicating with everyone. Like I said, they care a lot, and you don’t get that from every school. “He has made it clear that the visit will be important. “This will be a big factor because I get to see everything and get deeper into what they have to offer.” Jenkins ranks as the No. 214 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
