2025 three-star athlete Daune Morris (Chattanooga, Tenn.) is currently visiting the Tennessee Volunteers. Oakland High School athlete Daune Morris had a breakout junior campaign that landed him on several national programs’ radar. He logged 2,633 all-purpose yards and 36 total touchdowns, video-game numbers that rivaled anyone within Tennessee’s state borders. The Vols are looking closely to see if they want to make a big push in this recruitment. He’s likely to play a hybrid-offensive role at the next level, with many snaps coming at running back. The Vols recently hired a new running backs coach, De’Rail Sims, and the two are building a relationship. Morris is on campus today to begin that in-person process, and it may not be the last time he sees the Vols before his senior season. According to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Morris is the No. 454 prospect in the 2025 class. He holds 29 offers, highlighted by Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, and USC. Morris has already developed a good relationship with Tennessee’s staff and will continue to build it throughout the coming months.
