Odell Beckham Jr. could be making a splash in the AFC East following last season in the North.
The former Ravens receiver is set to meet with the Dolphins on Thursday in South Florida, according to multiple reports, as NFL free agency enters week two.
Miami, which already boasts one of the league’s most explosive receiving corps with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, has “internally discussed the idea of adding another high-quality receiver to pair” with the duo if the team “can make the money work,” the Miami Herald reported Wednesday.
The Dolphins, who have more than $13 million in cap space for 2024, according to Spotrac, have already connected to wideouts “of high pedigree,” as well as those “who are less accomplished.”
The report comes days after Beckham’s release from the Ravens, with whom he signed a one-year deal with $15 million guaranteed last April.
The three-time Pro Bowler tallied 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns last season after missing 2022 entirely while recovering from a torn ACL sustained in Super Bowl LVI that year.
Swea on everything I appreciate the Flock more than yall could EVER imagine. Did everything I could wit the opportunities I had. Wish I got to do it big for yall [ring emoji],” Beckham wrote Sunday on Instagram in his farewell message to the Ravens.
Thank you for the Vibez! To the City of Baltimore I f–k wit yall forever FRRRR. And most importantly to my brothers over there this s–t a lifetime sentence, I love yall! BiggestTruzzz.”
Prior to his stop with the Ravens, Beckham joined the Rams midway through the 2021 season in their eventual quest for a Super Bowl title.
