Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Morgan Gibbs-White at the end of the season and they will face competition from Newcastle United.
However, a report from Football Insider claims that Tottenham are in pole position to sign the 24-year-old midfielder. The report further labels him as an “Ange Postecoglou player”.
Gibbs-White could prove to be the ideal acquisition for the North London club and his style of play could prove to be a good fit for their system.
He is capable of slotting into the attacking midfield role as well as in the wide areas. He will add creativity, drive and flair to their attack. The versatile midfielder has proven his quality with Nottingham Forest and he has 13 goal contributions so far this season. The opportunity to join a bigger club will be a tempting proposition for him.
The 24-year-old will want to join a club capable of competing at a higher level, and Tottenham might be able to secure champions league qualification for the next season. They could be an attractive destination for him.
