Three-star safety Sidney Walton announced his commitment to Tennessee. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety is from Moody, Alabama.
He committed to the Volunteers over Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, and UAB.
Walton is the No. 423 overall prospect and No. 34 safety in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 3 safety and No. 20 player in Alabama, according to the On3 industry rankings.
Following Walton’s commitment, Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 8 in the SEC. The Volunteers’ class is headlined by five-star quarterback George MacIntyre and four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley.
