Footy star Jordan Dawson marries his childhood sweetheart Milly Dutton as they party with some of the AFL’s biggest names
They first met when they were in Year seven and now Crows captain Jordan Dawson and Milly Dutton have tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in the picturesque Barossa Valley just outside Adelaide.
Held this Wednesday, the nuptials featured a guest list including footy stars from Jordan’s current team and his old outfit, the Swans, where he played until the end of 2021.
Adelaide stars Rory Sloane, Taylor Walker, Brodie Smith and were front and centre, with Sydney big names Luke Parker, Sam Reid and Callum Mills, as well as Collingwood’s Darcy Cameron.
Dressed in a gown by Adelaide-based designer GretaKate, Dutton was hoisted into the air by her man in as they impersonated Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray’s iconic moment in Dirty Dancing.
Dutton was also seen celebrating wildly as she sat on Parker’s shoulders after changing into an all-white minidress for the after-ceremony party, with Dawson getting chaired around by Sloane.
The happy couple’s two dogs also played a role in the ceremony, which came after he proposed in December 2022.
After a beautiful ceremony that saw the couple share their first kiss as newlyweds surrounded by friends, family and the incredible Barossa scenery, the celebrations kicked off in fine style with Dawson and his bride reenacting a very famous romantic movie scene.
