FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas men’s basketball can now trot out a starting five full of scholarship players John Calipari got his fifth commit, the second out of the transfer portal, with three-year Tennessee forward Jonas Aidoo signing with the Razorbacks Monday night.
The 6-11 big man was selected to several All-SEC teams after averaging 11.4 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game this season. He was the 5th Volunteer in program history to get named to the SEC All-Defensive Team, finishing third in the conference with 68 blocks.
The junior was named to the First Team All-SEC by AP and to the Second Team by coaches. Aidoo appeared in 90 games across three seasons with the Vols.
He joins fellow SEC big man Zvonimir Ivisic as the Razorback additions from the transfer portal. Freshmen Karter Knox, Boogie Fland and Billy Richmond are the three other newcomers to the Arkansas roster.
