Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has shared his reaction after winning his latest EFL award.
The superlatives run out when describing Paul Mullin’s time at Wrexham since arriving in the summer of 2021 from Cambridge United.
At the time, many questioned his ambition after dropping from League One to the National League, but the Liverpool-born forward was sold by the project Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds were building.
Fast forward three years and Mullin is back to where he previously was, a League One striker, after firing 24 goals and supplying eight assists in 38 League Two appearances.
Despite missing the first eight matches with a punctured lung, the 29-year-old dragged his side to promotion with his clinical finishing, scoring a whopping 14 in his last 12 games.
