With the 2024 WNBA season winding down and the playoffs starting to gain traction, award season is right around the corner.
Indiana Fever point guard Caitlin Clarkhas become the clear frontrunner for the 2024 Rookie of the Year award, especially with Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese missing the final six games of the season due to a wrist injury.
Clark has even been brought up in discussions for the first-team All-WNBA. But what about the most prestigious individual award in the league?
Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has all but locked up the MVP award. However, former WNBA star and ESPN analyst Rebecca Lobo thinks Clark deserves to be included in the discussion for the award.
On Thursday, Lobo revealed her ballot for MVP honors, which included the former Iowa star. Her full rankings are as follows:
- A’ja Wilson – Las Vegas Aces
- Napheesa Collier – Minnesota Lynx
- Breanna Stewart – New York Liberty
- Caitlin Clark – Indiana Fever
- Nneka Ogwumike – Seattle Storm
