The Big Ten Championships are being hosted in Evanston, Illinois March 8-9, and Penn State Wrestling is looking to add to its collection of conference championships.
Sessions 1 and 2 on Saturday will end with the Championship Semifinals. Session 3 on Sunday will have the consolation semifinals and seventh-place matches culminating in the 1st, 3rd, and 5th place matches in session 4 late Sunday.
Could Penn State Wrestling’s Braeden Davis Benefit from a Favorable Draw?
A phenomenal freshman Big Ten Champion at 127, Braeden Davis looks to carry his success to his second Big Ten Championship.
This time, Davis is chasing a title at a new weight class of 133lbs. While the regular season did not go as expected for Davis due to an early injury, the B1Gs offer the Penn State star a chance to define his own success.
Last year, Davis was seeded 6th at 127 lbs and won it all. He had a great Freshman regular season, so maybe he was underrated at that time.
Coming into 2025 he is 4th in the pre-seeding at 133lbs and might be under-seeded again.
