Florida Head Coach Kevin O’Sullivan Confident Ahead of Midweek Clash with Stetson, Eyes Fifth-Straight Win
Florida Gators head baseball coach Kevin O’Sullivan expressed strong confidence heading into their midweek matchup against Stetson, as the Gators look to secure their fifth consecutive win.
In an interview with NCAAF News, O’Sullivan praised his team’s recent momentum and emphasized the importance of maintaining focus during this stretch.
“We’ve been playing some solid baseball lately,” O’Sullivan said. “The guys are locked in, and the chemistry is exactly where it needs to be. We’re not overlooking anyone—Stetson’s a quality ball club, and we know we’ll need to bring our best.”
The Gators have shown steady improvement across the board, with consistent pitching, timely hitting, and strong defensive play fueling their recent win streak. O’Sullivan also highlighted the depth of his roster and the ability of younger players to step up in key moments.
“We’ve got a lot of guys contributing right now, which makes us really tough to beat,” he added. “We’re staying disciplined and focused, and if we keep playing like this, I like our chances.”
With Florida looking to build momentum heading into the heart of SEC play, Wednesday’s showdown against Stetson presents another opportunity to keep the winning streak alive and confidence high in Gainesville.
