Arizona State men’s basketball finally got back in the win column on Tuesday night, knocking off No. 23 West Virginia 65-57 in Morgantown.
The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for the Sun Devils and reminded the Big 12 Conference that there’s still substantial talent on this roster to be reckoned with.
Basheer Jihad led the team with 17 points but three other teammates also reached double-digits in the relatively low-scoring affair. None was more impactful than freshman star Jayden Quaintance who put up 15 points and snagged 12 rebounds on the night.
