Juan Micha, the head coach of Equatorial Guinea, has selected Nigeria’s Super Eagles as one of the favorites to win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.
The three-time African champions are in the same group as the Nzalang Nacional.
Micha’s team will face the Super Eagles in their first encounter on Sunday at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe.
In the same group, the West Africans will face hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.
The Super Eagles, together with Senegal, Morocco, and Egypt, according to Micha, are the team to beat in the competition.
“I believe it is difficult to predict because there are Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Senegal, Egypt, and Morocco.” So I won’t guess who will win, but we’ll have to wait,” he informed Micha.
