Juan Micha, the coach of Equatorial Guinea, has outlined how his squad will approach their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Both teams will compete in Group A at the AFCON on Sunday.
The game will be held at Abidjan’s Alassane Ouattara Stadium.
Micha told Filgoal that his team will face Jose Peseiro’s side with all their might and the mentality to avoid defeat.
“Facing Nigeria in the first match will not be easy,” Micha told reporters.
“They have a strong team and have reached a high level of technical capabilities, so we will try to confront them with all our strength, and it is important that we start the first match without losing.”
