During the present January transfer season, Chelsea is ‘working on a deal’ to sign Brazilian prodigy Estevao Willian.
Willian is high on Chelsea’s shortlist, according to Fabrizio Romano, and the Blues have been working on a deal for him for several months.
The Premier League team, however, will have to compete with Barcelona for the player’s signature.
Willian has a €60 million (£51.5 million) release clause.
Since October, the 16-year-old has been on Chelsea’s radar.
He has been expected to have a bright future, garnering the moniker ‘Messinho’.
